Our second facility, A Bright Beginning Too, is located at 132 North St. Danvers, MA 01923

Our hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are licensed for children ages 6 weeks to seven years.

A Bright Beginning was established in 1991, and is owned and operated by Suzanne Carmilia. Suzanne has worked in the Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms and has a Bachelors Degree as well as Lead Infant/Toddler, Lead Preschool, and Director II certification through Early Education and Care.

Debra Keller and Ann Sorrento are both assistant administration, as well as teachers in the classroom. Debra has an associates in Child Development and Lead Teacher as well as Director certification. Ann has Lead Teacher as well as Director certification.

Our teachers are the biggest compliment to our program. The staff is a group of highly trained, friendly, loving, experienced, and educated teachers. All of our lead teachers have a degree in ECE education/Child development and our assistant teachers are EEC Certified. All staff are trained in CPR and First Aid. Workshops are taken throughout each year to meet all ECE standards. Our teachers share the same love and respect for children that’s why our very low turn over of staff boasts many years of working together!

We challenge children to thrive at everything they do while having fun with the process of learning! We feel that children learn through play and the process is much more important than the end product.

The school philosophy, borrowed from Maria Montessori and other methods, is Child-Centered. Maria Montessori was a brilliant and original educator, scientist, healer, humanitarian and philosopher. Respect for the child is the cornerstone on which all other Montessori principles rest.
